The motherboard provides comprehensive controls for configuring and tuning the system. Its software and firmware tools allow different aspects of system performance to be adjusted to suit the way the computer is used. This gives the motherboard an onboard high-speed storage connection suitable for an operating system or application drive where fast access to stored data is required.
Expansion connectivity includes one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. The motherboard also provides four DIMM slots and the M.2 socket alongside its CPU socket, giving the platform a range of options for memory, storage and expansion hardware.
A broad selection of external connections is provided on the motherboard, including VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI display outputs.
