The UGREEN 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Cable is a 2-metre unidirectional cable designed to connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer or other compatible source device to a display that uses an HDMI input. It provides a straightforward way to convert a DisplayPort output into HDMI for use with televisions, monitors, projectors, VR headsets and other compatible HDMI display equipment. The cable operates only from DisplayPort to HDMI and cannot convert an HDMI source to DisplayPort, so it is not bidirectional.

The cable supports video resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30Hz for 4K Ultra HD output. It also supports 1920x1080 at 60Hz for Full HD 1080p, together with 720p, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024 resolutions. This range of supported resolutions allows it to be used with compatible high-definition monitors, televisions and projectors. It is suitable for home office, gaming and general display applications where a computer equipped with DisplayPort needs to connect to an HDMI screen.

For multi-screen configurations, the cable can be used as part of a dual-monitor setup when connecting compatible DisplayPort outputs from a laptop or desktop computer to HDMI monitors. It supports HDCP 1.4 for the transmission of compatible protected content and also supports EDID communication between the source device and connected display. EDID allows compatible equipment to exchange display information automatically so that the source can recognise relevant capabilities of the connected screen.

The connection is plug and play and does not require separate drivers or additional software. Once connected between a compatible DisplayPort source and HDMI display, the cable carries the required video signal directly between the devices. Support for DP++ is also included, together with HDR support on compatible equipment.

Both audio and video can be transmitted through the same connection. The cable supports signal transfer speeds of up to 10.2Gbps and provides audio sampling up to 48KHz at 24bit, together with support for 32bit audio channels. This enables compatible high-definition audio and video signals to pass from a computer through its DisplayPort connection to an HDMI-equipped display.

To help maintain stable signal transmission, the cable uses four-layer shielding together with thicker copper wiring. This construction is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk within the connection. The cable also uses an aluminium alloy outer connector housing, which is resistant to rust and assists with heat dissipation during use.

The exterior of the cable is finished with a strong nylon braided jacket rather than a conventional PVC outer covering. According to the stated construction specification, this braided design is ten times more durable than PVC and is capable of withstanding more than 10,000 bends. These materials are used to provide a durable physical connection while maintaining reliable signal transmission between compatible devices.

    We require a full Eircode, 7 digits, to dispatch an order. If you do not provide this, we will try to match your address on the Eircode website, if we cannot find an exact match or if there are multiple address that are similar with no house number, we will email and call you. If we cannot get in touch with you, we will cancel and refund your order. We will not dispatch an order without a fully confirmed address and full 7 digit Eircode, if you do not provide your Eircode, your parcel will be delayed and or cancelled and refunded.

    If your parcel is misdirected it is outside of our control, your parcel is sent to the Eircode you provided at checkout.

    If your parcel is late or hasn't arrived within the time specified on the product page, please call or email us right away and we will contact DPD / AnPost on your behalf and get it delivered for you.


    Orders valued at €100 or less:

    You will receive and email and/or SMS from DPD / AnPost once they have your parcel from us, if you would like to, you can use the link in that message to re-arrange your delivery location and date. If you chose DPD for your delivery, you will receive another email and/or SMS on the day that your parcel is "Out for Delivery" letting you know the time, within an hour or so, to expect the DPD driver. If you chose AnPost for your delivery, you can check the AnPost tracking website the next working day to see if your parcel has been put out for delviery by AnPost, you can then expect delivery at the usual time your AnPost delivery person passes through your area. Please note, unexpected issues with transportation, roads, traffic, and weather can affect this estimated delivery date/time.

    If nobody is home to accept, inspect, and sign for the delivery, DPD / AnPost may, if appropriate, leave your parcel in a "safe place". If there is no "Safe place" available, the parcel will be returned to your local DPD / AnPost depot, you can then arrange a re-delivery date with DPD / AnPost. When DPD parcels are left in a "safe place" the DPD driver takes a photo. The photo will be emailed to you and us as proof of delivery. If you cannot find the parcel, please contact us and we'll let you know where the DPD driver put your parcel.

    Higher Value Orders (€100 or more):

    Please note, higher value items or orders, require an in-person signature upon delivery. If you're unavailable at the time of delivery, DPD / AnPost will hold your parcel at your nearest depot for collection. Alternatively, you can reschedule the delivery for a more convenient day using the manage delivery link provided in the email from DPD / AnPost prior to delivery.

    Not Covered in warranty

    1. Damage caused by the user.

    2. Damage to any ports and connectors caused by the user.

    3. Liquid damage.

    4. Improper treatment and usage, as in stretching, twisting of cables causing damage to the product.

    5. Tempered glass screen protectors are non-refundable if the plastic film has been removed from the glass. Bubbles under your tempered glass screen protector are either caused by incorrect application of the product by the user or due to pre-existing dust, grease, scratches and/or cracks on your device screen and so are not covered by the warranty and are non-refundable. Tempered glass screen protectors are designed to break, instead of your device screen and so once broken are deemed to have "done their job" and are not covered by the warranty and are non-refundable.
